Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, was today given flowers as a train was named after her.

The King's sister, 73, was at London's Paddington Station as a Great Western Railways (GWR) locomotive was given the name "HRH The Princess Royal."

Princess Anne was given the honour for her support of 300 charities.

The princess has a very high approval rating amongst the British public for her high work ethic for her country. She is amongst the hardest working of British royals and has a no-nonsense attitude. She's also been designated by the King as his stand-in should he be out of the country or incapitated - the "Deputy Monarch."

The princess made a speech in which she spoke of the important role that railways play for the country.
