Alberta politics is always one of the more interesting to watch. For those of us who consider watching Politics to be our version of watching "sports", Alberta is usually the equivalent of demolition luge.
This was a little more predictable though. Despite all the shenanigans, given a choice between notley and the UPC, the masses are deciding to embrace the crazy and get behind danielle smith. At the end of the day she's a little like trump in that she says a lot of whacky crap but the gov't is actually running pretty smooth and the fiscal situation is quite good all things considered.
But it's still fairly close. And campaigns matter. So - we'll see how much of a fight notley puts up or if she just rolls over and half asses her way to defeat. It could be a very interesting race and it's only about 2 months before it starts
