    I'm taking a break from posting life... popping in for a very limited few minutes a day, to get caught up on some stuff that's needing my attention.

    Yes, I went to some of it...the Chamber organized the event....I was pissed off when I got there to find out the union member(s) of the theatre used the event to get their message out...the union should hold their own forum and pay for it if that's what they want to do...I called the Chamber and let them know how pissed I was and asked if they OK'd it...NO they hadn't...those union workers will get NO support from the public who are aware of what they did. Anyways, I did not stay long, but I have enough info to make my decission on the candidates I will vote for.
    I will vote for Charlie as mayor.

    Kim Vokey is a tough cookie, she doesn't let anyone walk on her....she is the current president of CR's Chamber...when the city took over the Tourist Info (it was a hostile takeover). They thought OK now we are running this entity that actually makes money....Kim and the Chamber said, "but that is our equipment in there, we bought it"...They forced the city to purchase all that they had previously bought, much to the City's dismay.
    Other than that I have no idea who to vote for when it comes to the councillors....will have to attend the candidates forums.

    You're right about the dictatorship type not being a good thing....the procedures that must be followed are time consuming as it is...McDonnell has implemented more procedures to stall somethings that he didn't care about or want. Others he pushed and removed procedures....I am against the new complex and the referendum will be expensive. Mary was the only council member to speak out against the proposed complex.
