She’s a woman scorned by porn.

Like many people, Jourdan Kehr, a TikToker from West Virginia, recently watched Oppenheimer with her husband.

But unlike most people, Kehr made her husband shut his eyes and look away from the screen during a sex scene featuring Cillian Murphy and Florence Pugh’s because she suffered “betrayal trauma.” Apparently, she caught him watching porn so nudity is now triggering — for both of them.

In her clip about the movie, which has since been deleted from her TikTok page, Kehr responds to a user who asked for advice for couples “wanting to watch Oppenheimer but being fully afraid of the Florence Pugh scene everyone is talking about.” (The scene — director Christopher Nolan’s first sex scene — involves the two characters being nude and intimate.)

Kehr explained she researches everything before they watch it.

“We prepared ourselves,” she explained. “I didn’t know when the scene was going to happen and I also didn’t understand how the scene was happening. I thought it was just several minutes straight of…”

Mouthing the word “sex,” she continued: “But it wasn’t, it was actually broken up into, like, it would be a flash of that and then it would be a flash of normal life and then it would be a flash of the scene.”

Kehr went on to say that she and her husband have a “game plan” for everything to do in case either of them get “triggered.”

In the case of Oppenheimer, “when things were happening, he literally closed his eyes and laid his head on my shoulder… And then I would just let him know when it was over.”

So her advice to the commenter: “Have a plan and talk about it before you go.”

People were shocked by the lengths the couple go to in order to avoid sex scenes.

“This actually makes me feel like I’m losing my mind,” user fIlmgal tweeted.

Another person responded, “Guy who sees a movie about the creation of the most destructive weapon created in the history of mankind that psychologically destroyed every generation that followed but needs to look away from the screen when there are breasteses.”

A third user wrote, “Have a plan.” “Don’t get triggered.” Triggered to do what exactly…”

In a follow-up video, Kehr explained that she “went through betrayal trauma 10 months ago after nine years of marriage, 10 years of being in a completely monogamous relationship,” after she saw a video of two people having sex in a video on his phone.

“That was the hardest day of my life.”

Kehr said that she and her husband are still together and “he’s been sober for 10 months” after “doing all the steps, all the work” to “becoming a trustworthy person and he is showing me the signs that I need by his actions, his behaviours and his patterns that he is going in the right direction.”

I haven't caught Oppenheimer yet, but IMAX 1570 sounds like the ultimate way to experience it! I can't wait for your review – always on the lookout for recommendations. However, I already have some options from top movies right now. Anyway, did Oppenheimer live up to the hype?
