King Charles III has today carried out his first public engagement since his cancer diagnosis.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre in London.

The British Head of State and his wife were shown the world leading cancer treatment available there and met those undergoing treatment.

The King appeared to be in great spirits today as he was presented with flowers during his first public engagement since his cancer diagnosis.

The King, 75, and Queen, 76, visited the Macmillan Cancer Centre in Fitzrovia in the London Borough of Camden and they were each given flowers by two young boys as Their Majesties left the building.

In June, King Charles III and Queen Camilla will host a State Visit by the Emperor and Empress of Japan.

The King, who himself has cancer, made the visit today to highlight to the nation the importance of early diagnosis of cancer...
